The long haunting cry echoes off full moon,
carrying into the stillness its own special tune.
What is the sound that warbles such,
to all that hear, it provides a touch.
Some will think just a primal sound
other will know what they have found.

Ancient the words no one can know,
except the spirits to whom they flow.
The call does gather the ones around,
where the meaning finds, a fertile ground.
Listening to the call as it rings out,
for there can be, not the slightest doubt.

The spirit which lay in each human frame,
knew of such when the world was untame.
Mournful tone in chill night air,
is only welcome to those who dare.
To think inside of where they’ve been,
and know they start out once again.

The spirit of the wolf moves within each touch,
to comfort the soul who never asked much.
Only some peace, and comfort to hold,
and to live their lives in a gentle mold.
It may only be the breeze that reaches your ears,
or that haunting cry to take your fears.
.
.
To believe in the past, is to embrace the future..Logan

Now this just FLOWED, M'Lo!

The stream of life and resolutions and the wisdom of you that proves itself again and again in your words. A wonderful weave....

I find that to know the pathway ahead requires an understanding of where it began. My wolf spirit helps keep me on my path.

Ah, Logan~
Your gentle phrasing calls to the sprit~
Reminding us ... we are not alone~

Always in the gentle keep
of spirits of the ancient guardians

When I'm right...I'm right     *L*
(hey..it dont happen often so I'll gloat when it does) LOL

From one who understands much...
you pass the wisdom on to those who will come sit by the fire and hear the call...and know.....
very well done sweet keeper....
the legend of the guardian is even more lovely when wrapped in your rhymes.

and then...(because I remember)   ......

This distance has shown how the road remains alone
Now I'm looking in my life ... for a truth that is my own.

Logan,
Your web of words has caught a rule,
To fill the bellies of many a fool.
That food to nurish a starving mind.
By touching the braille of past mankind.
Excellent write.
