LadyBug Invasion

Crawling on my ceiling
Knocking on my door
Ladybugs are everywhere
I can't take it anymore!

They are the sweetest bugs around
So Balladeer stay away!
But sweet as they are, there's just too many
And I think they're planning to stay!

There is a hut outside for them
It's a ladybug hotel
So why they're here, invading my home
I really just can't tell.

So if anyone out there is feeling lonesome,
Please, it is no trouble
For me to package up these buggers
And send them on the double!

*sigh*  I had some cute little ladybug pictures in with this but apparently they won't show up....they worked in the preview window!  But I guess they don't want to work on the forum themselves.  Ohhh well....just use your imagination

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

I'm more into frogs though. I have like frog beanie babies and statues in my room..so if you want to write one about Frogs that would be awesome!  : )

Please don't send them here to me
For I have my own
They are self righteous buggers
They moved into my home

There are tons of them this year. My cat's been going nuts cause they crawl on the outside of the patio window and she can't figure out why she can't catch them

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

RosePetal~
Green and slimey,
they look so cute
with their little googly eyes

They float so still
you can barely see them
in their sleek disguise

But in a flash
they'll come to life
as they reach out for some flies!

I love frogs too   Now if you'll excuse me...I'm off to go package some ladybugs
Thanks for stopping in and commenting!

Tracey~ You sure you don't want even a couple?
There's plenty to go around!
My kitty cat ignores them here
He just lays there on the ground.

But what else is new
Thanks for reading and replying!

Serenity~ What an adorable nickname
And there are just waaay too many coincidences here....you sure there's not some celestial plan in effect? (by the way, my Auntie Kay's real name is Karen.)
I'll figure out the graphics if it's the last thing I do!  And then I'll share the secret with you

Hugs to all of you!

Save the ladies!! Save the ladies!!!

They are actually a gardener's best friend. Perfect biological control agents, and they adore eating all those nasty aphids. So bag'em up and sell them, don't let them get away!

This is cute. I think I will pass on the ladybugs, though.

This poem was absolutely adorable, I loved it.

You did the graphics right Krista.  I had forgotten to tell you that sometimes when you get graphics from some sites, they have protection on their bandwidth, that when people try to copy graphics, etc. and use their bandwidth, they can look correct, and often show up for even as long as a day, but eventually will disappear, as they delete your link to the graphic.  NEVER use geocities or tripod graphics (they vanish instantly), and now there are many big servers with this protection.  The best thing to do is open your own account at a place such as Webshots, or Lycos, find graphics you like, copy to your C drive, and then upload them to those "holding tanks" until you want to use them.  In this way that is your very own bandwidth, and they will always appear.

Sorry you lost these little buggers, perhaps next time, but your poem stood alone without the bugs, it was terrific Krista.

Whatever happened to those greenish ladybugs? I could swear I've seen em before, but I haven't in ages. Did I dream them up? If you've got any of those, send em on over.

The red x's are a really nice touch by the way.

Love you!

[EDIT]:Well, you shut me up by getting your pictures working finally.

YAY!!!
My graphics are working now!  Special thanks to Mysteria   You're *so* the best!

RosePetal~ I'm glad you liked it

Seymour~ Thanks a bunch!

Startime~ Yeeeah..tell me about it!  We had snow here the weekend before last.  I think the ladybugs are just trying to hide from the snow too
Thanks so much for stopping in and having a little giggle   I always enjoy that!

Nancy~ Well you understand where I'm coming from then!   And yes, I noticed the ones this year were orangier and also, many of them don't have spots!  Very weird.  I cannot believe one bit you though! Did they run out of aphids or something?  Hehe...that's just too freaky   poor you!  Thanks for stopping by, and get carried away anytime! *hugs*

Walt~ohhhh yuh

MidniteSun~ hehe, sounds like you want some!   We actually have been saving them as best we can.  We bought a little ladybug hut that apparently they will want to hibernate in.  Thanks for reading and commenting

SmartChick~ Maaan...you sure?   They're free!

Mysteria~ You are such a dear   Thank you for all the help.  I ended up just switching my graphics over to Lycos and now it's working perfectly!  (they better still be up there tomorrow or I'm gonna cry )
And thank you so much for your lovely comments on the poem itself   gave me a smile!  *hugs to you sweet friend*

SH~ Hehe, you're dreaming again sweetie   These orangy ladybugs I've got keeping me company though, they can easily be made green!  I'm sure they wouldn't mind the change, and I sure wouldn't mind the relocation!
Hehe...made you eat your sarcastic words   That's possibly the best part!  Just kidding  ...I love you!

Hugs to all of you!

Deb~ hehehe, I think my cats would probably gulp those frogs down pretty quick so I'd better not
I'll send a little package of goodluck your way anyway though
Thanks for reading and digging this up!  Now everyone can see the graphics!
*hugs*
