“SOFT IS THE WILLOW”
by

Sometimes I see the lonely
weeping willow, crying
tears by the still waters,
pouring from her heart…

It reminds me of mine
when it wept, as I sat
beneath her boughs, and
she caressed my sadness…

And I knew of her pain
when I closed my eyes,
and felt her tears combine
with mine, as they flowed…

Soft is the willow, when she
reaches, touches, knowing and
sharing pain, as I slowly
disappear into her loving arms…

*sigh* I remember how romantic weeping willows always seemed to me but I also remember that they were a place where I could go to privately shed tears of heartache. Magical writing that brought back soft memories. Thank you so much for sharing these heartfelt words.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Bill, this is so very sad, but also soooooo romanticly beautiful! (big hugggssssss) You have a very sweet and loving heart, and she is so very lucky to have a sweet sensitive husband who will always be there for her when she feels sad and needs someone to share her tears with, and you are that special man! (smiles) God Bless You, dearest Bill! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Startime - romantic they are, always a special place in my heart for them, as they serenely stand near the waters... Thank you for your reply.

JamesMichael - thank you James for your reply.

Mistletoe Angel - your words are too kind, but very appreciated. I'm glad that you liked it, as it is not only sad, but has much meaning... Thank you again...

I now have a favourite by you!  This is gorgeous, sad, yet stunning!  I relate very much so, this really touched me.

Into my library this goes

Take care,

Willows have a special place in our minds.
They are so peaceful....and yes, consoling.
Thanx for sharing.
