I see her
she's in love with you
I feel her heart in quickened beat
I recognize her eyes, her tone...
I know them for they are my own.

and I brush the tears from my eyes...
for you're not hers, and you're not mine...
tonight, we both, alone, shall cry
sisters dreaming dreams of lies
convenient in our compromise
pillows kept where skin should be--
I do not hate her. How could I?
For when she sobs she sounds like me.

Wow, this touches me for far too many reasons to mention, but, wow, your writing is amazing!  This is so bitter, yet, beautiful.

Take care,

Damn...You have really just reached in and grabbed my heart with this one, Ser. I love this, and I hope all is well with you.

Wow, I knew this one well, that is why I am single   (by choice and loving it too I might add)...fantastic poem of the pain of being alone with someone.

This was painful to read, as I understand those feelings very well.  Take care, my friend.

*sigh* my heart goes out to you for so many of us share this private hell with you. I pray that yours will not endure long and that a healing love come into your life that you can have for you alone. You spoke words here that my heart has felt but did not know how to voice. Magnificent writing.

(sad sigh) My heart cries out to your sorrow, and I pray with all my heart that both you and her can again heal from the recent pain. (big hugggsssssss) My heart is always with you, sweet serenity! You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

i see you too
hovering in airs
of fair
play
true to
the true

and in lieu
of flowers,
i send my stride,
even rhythmed,
my eyes staring up,
my passioned cup
toasting to tomorrow's
bliss.

a kiss
is just a moment held
in sanctity,
the Love, on wing
flying o'er

as she and she
and she and she
are open for
once more

this was written with a beautiful heart for another woman, with honesty and love.  I know the feelings you write of all too well. But this kind of compassion- It doesn't get any better than that. Applause.....and bowing here.

sometimes. . . I wonder if you are indeed the voice of all women. . . for you speak the words that they would. . . if they were able. . .

wonderful. . . from a soul that's finding it's way. . .

The emotions sound loud and clear in this. I've been through that hell before. But you know, I think I preferred that to the total absence of feeling that I have today (though don't worry, I know this will pass)
