People are fearful of taking a flight
I surely can know their plight
But, I pause to wonder, is it right
To harbor our fright
Much to our enemies'delight?

Things have changed overnight
All because of someone's spite
To push the agony to its height
Making the place - a burial site
But, I pause to wonder, is it right
For our enemies to lose their sight
And take such action forthright?

Angels arrived with the speed of light
Working tirelessly day and night
Helping the nation to stand upright
Holding its values high up straight

Now, I no more pause to wonder is it right
To hope and dream of a safe one tonight,
For, I have seen a beam of light
Guiding us and shining bright
Tucking us in to sleep tight
And have a wonderful night

Goodnight to all!!!

What a nice poem to write.  Thanks, I will.  You, too!

this is so thoughtful and sweet.   I like this very much. I was afraid to fly long before this....17 hours flying over an ocean with your baby will tend to have that effect on you   I won't ever fly again   great writing!

Indeed, the angels were all around...think of the thousands that survived...

Thank you for this...
