 I run to a place where I can no longer hurt you. How noble. How foolish. You find me, crying, touch my shoulders, turn me to you, cup my face in your hands. Your thumb travels across my chin, around my temples. At that moment, we remove time. You bite your lip gaze upward, close your eyes and hesitate before saying, "Don't cry, you've given me nothing but pleasure. I love you." "I'm ill." "I love you." "You're better off without me." "I love you." "I….., You kiss me. offering... I often wonder why running away from the one that we love makes us think that we're sparing them the pain. . . this is excellent. . . it conveys these emotions very well. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person.
