This one was written a while ago* I'm very happy now considering how angry I was when I wrote this!

Yesterday is gone
And left me feeling sad
Tonight I lay awake
Reminded of what I had

Is there a way
to make up for lost time?
If only I can dispose
of the images embedded in my mind

Thoughts stick to me
Playing with my brain
Somehow I've got to rid myself
of this misery and pain

It's not so simple
It won't go away
Night after night
the sadness comes to play

Another night
I lay there in bed
Again, disturbing images
invade my head

This time a bit more intense
I can see you..feel you
That once shiny kitchen knife
Slicing my insides out
Echoing laughter released in the air
from you twisted mouth

That hot breath of yours
buring my flesh
like lightbulbs against my skin
Disintegrating, leaving nothing left...
