Lying peacefully, breathing softly, slowly, an occasional jerk, a twitch, a flutter.
Dreaming,   away from reality, totally enwrapped within a microscopic moment happening within the recesses of our mind.

Images often of moments in our past, of people we no longer see.
Of childhood relatives lost, resurfaced memories of heartache and pain.
Of friends and enemies we once had in our momentary living  history.
Of beautiful sunsets, shimmering waters, sounds of gentle rain.

Dreams of death, destruction, chilling things with which we  tussle.
Moments hidden within a haze or cloud, dark forbidding, ominous. Wretched smell.
Moments standing still with no relief as we struggle.

Maidens lost and hunted for, flitting from hidden place to hidden place.
Taken away by other loves we both once knew, another lover’s face.

Tragedies and triumphs flowing through our minds as we lay squirming asleep.
Waking in a sweat, crying a tear, a slumbering drama powerfully deep.

To some, our dreams mean  little,  really not a part of our consciousness.
To others, our dreams forecast and tell so much about ourselves.
Nocturnally generated  things we want to forget and no longer repress.

Battles have been forecast, crafted and won from nothing more than a dream.
Much of our history and modern machines have come on night time wings, birthing in the morning as a mind awoke....wondering if it was a dream??????

Pleasant dreams..........

This too is a "three-dot-poem" (it lingers after having been read, which is a very good thing).

Thanx Sea,  I liked this when I wrote it.
reflecting back to a lot of the things that
one sometimes dreams....what dreams do to
our lives.

To awaken in someone's arms makes any dream....continue.  Thank you for this.

Lady of S.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my
poem.  Yes,  that would certainly be a
nice dream to have become a reality.
