Planks

All the more
cantering shattered songs
folded knees against the planks
Splinters of the day's intercession
taunting in the cry
for a salve to dowse this empty envy
Beg this earth to her core
sister sky break open your burdens
right with rain
A lease on life in each drop
until I own this heart again

Ohh yes! This is an excellent little poem. Its packed with someone imploring. I love it! and WHAT on earth is it doing way down here?

Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence.

*sigh* this poem had me seeing a vision of you on your knees imploring for the refreshing of your heart. Magnificent and very powerful. I join my plea to you that you need be gifted to you and that your heart be filled with that which you need.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

WRBreezin~

Such a plaintive pleading~

'sister sky break open your burdens
right with rain
A lease on life in each drop
until I own this heart again'

Beautifully rendered~
