My Angel
My gift
From above
I don’t know how
To thank you for giving me
Your love

I know at times
I’ve hurt you
With mad unfounded fears
And watched you turn away and cry
Till sleep has drowned your tears

And yet
My Love
I hope you know
That every time you cry
Deep inside
I shrivel up
And feel
I want to die

I only hope that
You will find
It there within your heart
To forgive the hurt
Forget the tears
And say we’ll never part

In life it’s said
You have to take
The smooth and then the rough
So don’t forget
We’re special
And it’s really
Only stuff
