It Rained To-day it rained. Like the skies had opened up their patio doors and persuaded heaven's tears to join in matrimony with the salty droplets that refused to cease spilling from my dispirited eyes. The bloated, offending clouds dried up with envy of this surreal union, and a blazing sun appeared just long enough to paint a rainbow with the fervent colours flowing like ribbons from my melting heart. To-day it rained. |

Greeneyes, Thankyou for your comment. I just read your lovely poem about rain...lol....what different thoughts we have!! It is the mood that I am in when the rain appears that makes me either welcome it, or bid it farewell. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |
