Moonlight shimmers soft upon the lake
as Luna holds her head majestically high,
watching as mother nature goes to sleep
embraced in moonbeams the eagle does fly.

On this eve' the winds remain calm
the crickets make a melodious sound,
moonlight filters through the stars
stardust lands gently upon the ground.

All on earth is well this peaceful night
as Luna whispers acrossed the skies,
shhh...rest now earth, it's time to sleep...
dream serenely, for God is nigh.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

pale, sweet moon above
whisper softly as I sleep
and awake to peace

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I thought your muse was gone
this is LUNA LOVELY ...
wonderful imagery here GS
keep em coming

When your own emptiness is all that's getting through
There comes a point when you're not sure why you're still talking
I passed that point long ago

moon's glow soothing slow
and through the windows beaming
thoughts of you, dreaming

Gentle Spirit, Lovely as usual. Reminds me of what my mother used to say, "God's in His heaven and all's right with the world." Chris
