Deep in the heart

0 posted 2001-10-11 01:23 PM

It can never be
unless …
we dream
together.
Our dreams link
and we share
deeply
as we dream
together.
Sharing our dreams
easy as speaking
or writing
or talking
together.
Sharing our dreams
whether apart or
alone or
together.
Proximity means
nothing since
words
carry miles and miles
over land and
sea
carrying their
thoughts and
dreams
that we happily share
together.

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Interloper~ This speaks to me...I know the feeling of being connected only by dreams because of distance.  You've expressed it so eloquently.

Hugs,
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

together in dreams
we find a way
quietly whispering words
we want to say
in our minds
our thoughts are real
of this love
our hearts feel
giving, taking
uniting us two
together in dreams
just me and you.....

Imagine, then, the impact of the letter received back in the times of Civil War, World War I, II, the Korean, Vietnam...

how your words brought this to mind...

how spoiled we are today...

Well done, Sir!

Yes...I ditto Lady in White. What special bond those letters brought. Your poem did bring that sense of perfect nostalgia.

Beautifully captured Interloper ... when our dreams and words can travel such distance, our connections remain strong ... very nicely written!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Well done Interloper.  As long as we can love...distance, time...nothing can stop it.

Proximity means very little indeed when we love...
