retracing her thoughts
from well of ink to paper
her heart flows from pen

silent muse, mute pen
a poetess in waiting
rhyme's release will heal

~*~

words flow thru her veins
her pen lies still, lacking voice
your words sate her needs

~*~

thank you dearest Lady ... for thinking of me

Here I stand like it matters...
once love is through-it gets scattered by the rain
and pain gives me the right to be unkind ...

electricity
links thy thoughts to pen in hand
thy heart speaks the words

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

WOW!  I have this painting (a copy of course), and nothing could have done it more poetic justice than your words, nothing!

Dear White Lady - Thank goodness you aren't Pandora, as the following haiku about kicking kitties would get her really upset.  It's not my fault, yanno.  Whenever I read a haiku, I just get to tapping my foot and thinking about kitties.  Please don't tell that old sourpuss Sunshine, either, as she loves kitties, too.

Kitten cries, "It's cold!"
She's left outside anyway.
Rain mats kitty's back .

Rain freezes to sleet
Long John sits at the window
Runs canopener.

Long John feels regret,
Brings kitty in from the cold
Hopes White Lady sees.
