Between the Lines

Inlaid

Beyond the darkness
there are endless waves of silent dreams,
patterned currents to disquiet my nights.
Thoughts form shadows, silhouettes,
tinting the visions, calling to me,
my heart yielding, on lend,
to borrowed shapes.

Planted within the dark
are the verses of you, memories
emerging silent, to comfort my heart,
crossing time, breaking the night
to suspend me in the arms of expression,
fating me with your love.

The patterned currents
Always seem to disturb my sleep, also.

Good write
