Moccasins, loafers Slippers, ropers Flip flops, high tops Slickers get you Puddle hops Mukluks, chukkas Sandals, thongs With the perfect sneaker You can’t go wrong Heels, steels Cleats and tap House shoes For when you’re Done with naps Shoes for bowling Skates for rolling Soccer shoes are for When you go out goaling Swim shoes, stilts And even waders Running shoes are good For them see-you-laters Wing tips and oxfords Shoes when you ballet Working those pumps As you pay the valet Granny boots lace up Hiking boots race up A mountain full of Those blue suede shoes Golf shoes for courses Riding boots for horses Space boots for the race We’ll never ever lose When they’re getting snooty Babies wear their booties Wearing stilettos sometimes Will just get you cooties Do mules wear horse shoes? Do hush puppies be quiet? If you wear combat boots You’ll likely cause a riot. Shoes that are dyed Snow shoes really wide Rolling runners have a wheel You can pop up and hide Platforms to feed the hogs When dancing wear your clogs Walking shoes are good When you’re walking all your dogs Duck shoes on a boat And boat shoes on a duck Buster Browns and mary janes Cost alotta bucks These fifty pairs of shoes Wear them as you choose But I’m a centipede Fifty pairs of shoes I need! I wear them all at once Variety would be spice I do have so many kinds And I won't wear them twice! Now I change a diaper Forty-nine are for my wife Soon our baby grows up And shoes'll be her life What’s that I hear? The pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter pitter-patter of one hundred feet? This was absolutely hilarious, but I have been deciding what I wanted to be in my next life and now I've got it - a centipede, as I absolutely adore shoes, shoes, and more shoes. Thanks Walt, glad I got that settled now too. ~I always have time to listen to someone talking from their heart~ |
