Sticks and stones break bones.

Don't let anyone fool you.

Guns and missiles kill.

How can we teach the children not to hurt, when all they see is violence?
How can we teach respect for life when all we do is kill?
How can we achieve peace when all we do is war?
When do we begin to make love, not war?

"When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?"

Happy Columbus Day.
We live in 'The New World', don't we????

Tough and painful questions for a tough and painful world.  It all needs to be said.  Thanks,

Thanks for letting me rant a little, Larry.
I am frustrated today, as my poem must reveal.

There is no logic to the world any longer and only rare answers to questions like this.  Well done.

Thank you, Duncan. And I'd be interested to hear any answers you may have tucked away in your heart, for only kind hearts even hear the questions.
