This friendship that we share
I feel is really quite unique
Although the time that I first met you
I certainly wasn't at my peak

But you listened to my troubles
As our lives we both revealed
Through our tragedies and our triumphs
The bonds of friendship were firmly sealed

So many laughs we shared together
And so many times I cried
But you always listened so patiently
My feelings I didn't have to hide

Through the written word we'd communicate
As we so freely opened our hearts
We seemed oblivious to the distance
That kept us so far apart

It's nearly two years since I met you
And I'm so glad you decided to stay
Thank you for being my friend
And for all the joy you've brought my way

THIS IS DEDICATED TO MY FRIEND DAVE WHO LIVES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM - SUCH A SPECIAL FRIENDSHIP WE SHARE.

I think we all have friends like this, and isn't it a grand thing? I loved this.

What a lovely tribute to your friendship. A good friend is so special. They feel our joy with us, and they feel our pain with us. I can't imagine life without good friends

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
