Serenity~ They are all my children ... How I wish I could reach out and touch them all~ Just had one of my mentor students moved from an abusive home ... and maybe now she will have an opportunity to know love, gentleness, and a chance to escape the confines of poverty. Logan~ Thank you~ She's six years old and has merely 'survived' for most of that time. Now she will have a chance to 'grow'. If you could have seen those eyes light up when she touched a piano key for the first time~ Oh .. how my heart filled with the joy of her. I could have sworn I posted on this one already but it is not there, so I guess I pushed the wrong button again, but anyway, I wanted to say to you that if you had never done one other thing in your life (except you have), but touched the life of one child in a positive way, then you had done your job! But I know you, this is ongoing so it comforts me to know that these children who brush by your heart are the upstanding citizens of tomorrow Marge. And this was a beautifully sensitive poem.
