as you read these words
and hear my voice
and see my likeness
remember that I am more
than just a Muse
more than just one who fosters
the creative spirit

I am The Creative Spirit

the poet needed words
so I invented language
the singer needed melodies
so I invented music
the painter needed pictures
so I invented color

I gave them these tools
so that they might learn,
learn to write the words
learn to sing the songs
learn to show the pictures
and to share what they’ve learned
with the world
so that those in the world might also
know and want to learn

and that, in their learning
they might come to the table
the table of life,
to share a draft of Amrita
with their fellow learners
and to remember that in Creation
we are all one

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: Sarasvati is the white skinned Goddess of poetry, music, science and learning as well as all creative arts. Inventor of the Sanscrit language and all the creative arts.  She invented Soma, or Amrita (drink of bliss). Independent of nature. Goddess of sensual love, creativity, beauty, art and music.

This is the second of the Voices of the Goddess series.  Thanks to Romy for the idea.

Another informative and lovely piece. (I want some Amrita about now..I am far too stressed)
How are you able to write such peacefulness right now? I wish I could.

Sven, You are so amazing. The depth that you have taken on here shows and your effort to paint these godesses is highly admirable to say the least. Great job! I'm learning with you.

Sincerely,
Regina

Your Goddess series is so lovely. I'm so glad you were inspired to start it because I'm enjoying learning about them so much

and to remember that in Creation
we are all one

Such perfect lines there. If only everyone could understand that

Sven,

Hello my friend. This was lovely,
but then again all your work is.
You expressed yourself beautifully
here. Hope that you've been well.

Take care.

Very ethereal and ties in the mystic essence of creative writing quite well.
