The Anthropoid

We pray beliefs upon cold stones
Where underneath collects old bones.
Woe to the wind that fills the void
So it is with the anthropoid.

We sail on glories past violence
And awe in faith and its silence.
We kneel in brutal homage as
We spin on the wheel of carnage.

With devious Gods we have spun
And now have turned them all to one.
Gods and demons of hidden things
They still lie deep within our springs.

But now we speak agnostic thoughts
And muse the carnage we have wrought.
Its challenge and philanthropy
And blind justice philosophy.

But we can’t seem to cede an end
Where underneath doth lie a friend
We cannot seem to cede, just moans
Nor can we seem to cede, just bones.

And it still does not seem that odd
When we whisper there, go With God.

ahhh my wise Stinky...
these wisdom apples from your poetic orchard
ask the questions that are on our minds
in these troubled times....
these questions of conflict are as old as man and time.
Well done sweet Sy-babers

"but for the grace of God go I" ....

We're all feeding our lonely ... like it might go away,
Like the doors of heaven will swing wide ... if we just find the right words to say.

Very Wow! Can't seem to find the right words. Yep...you did it. Left me speechless! I guess I've made peace with the fact that I will always screw something up. And If I happen to get something right. Thank God!   You are so good for my brain.

Sincerely,
Regina
