you've all made me feel welcome
to share with you my heart
to know there's otheres like me
tho' often miles apart

this room. so many topics
all heartfelt and unique
it's nice to feel the comfort
in all the words you speak

now, friends, please let me thank you
for letting me inside
for letting me expose myself
in each poem that i write
