I leave you now
to talk with gods.
O tie the sacred rope 'round me.
Into the chamber, enter I,
Holy,
of ancient Holies.

Into the temple,
travel I,
I find the door
in middle eye--
there is no brasive rope to burn
but for the lessons of discern.

Are there yet followers to keep,
should wisdom be a dead man's sleep?
Dream by virtue of locale--
these things I learn--can never tell.

It's complicated circumstance--
knowledge is the root romance--
every thing we place in stead
is pennies on the eyes of dead.

Simple knowledge of "alone."
Simple longing to go home.

Holy, holy, Holiness...
we think if we find God we rest.
There is no rest for weary head,
Be Still. Let God,
find you, instead...

EXCELLENT flow, Srenty! Makes me think of a hymnal I used to sing when I went to church. That was certainly a long time ago, yup.  Great write, Karen.  enjoy the dark since I can't get ICQ to turn back on.

Another amazing piece from your pen Serenity. Such imagery, such thoughts questioned and so beautifully expressed.
