I'm twisted once more checking into a world I explore where the sidewalks never stay straight and the lights are always bright yes I'm faded and the world is going crazy flying and dying inside and out going insane with a scream and a shout with a selfrighteous suicide cause I'm faded and I really don't care any more nothing forgiven and nothing remains pockets empty since 1938 fingers falling away from here and now still I'm faded locked inside with my version of the lord a dozen beers and a bottle of jack my lord's at the bottom of the last one I grab and the end is drawing near and I'm fading away |
