Gardenias and jasmine fill my senses
As their fragrance floats along the breeze
Such a perfume is so exquisite
'tho it sometimes makes me sneeze

Surrounded by nature's beauty
In another world am I
As I admire the grace and beauty
Of the birds as they fly on by

My flowering gum tree is a haven
For the rainbow lorikeets so fine
As they sample nectar from my garden
Their brilliant colors how they shine

The smell of freesias fills my head
As I inhale the perfume oh so sweet
Then I head towards my birch tree
To rest upon the garden seat

The peacefulness here is so calming
As I soak up the last rays of the sun
Many more hours I'll enjoy in this paradise
Where Mother Nature and I become one

Oh, I really do love your garden!
Freesias are my absolute favorite. They have the very best fragrance in the world...next to wysteria, roses, lavender, carnations, jasmine, mint and sage. My nose is all excited just reading this poem. Thanks!
(Except gardenias make me sneezy and crazy.)

I forgot about the honeysuckle ... also "heaven scent".

Hey Suetang, can you come over here and make my garden look like this, cause I've got a black thumb, and yours is obviously very green   Lovely walk through your garden. I'm envious!!!

Now it's hard to appreciate the beauty of Fall when you keep reminding me of Spring and Summer.  *grins*  Splendid read!

*sigh* I love gardens and you managed to bring it to live with your words. They are so descriptive that I could almost smell the beauty of it all.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

The internet has made plain me something I always knew.   Half the world is in a different season from me. Love spring, but Fall gives me less problems with sneezing too *S*
