Oh how I wish I could be
Resilient like Wile E. Coyote
Anvils falling on my head
There’d be no need to hide in bed

Off a cliff at top speed?
No safety net would I need.
Jet powered shoes on my feet
Pillows that cushion my seat

I’d be brave and always try
You’d never see me whine or cry
The one drawback that I see
All my rhymes would be from Acme!

The roadrunner was the smarter of the two but the coyote never gave up!!! I give him credit for that!

We actually saw the ACME warehouse and I wanted to stop and get that pen you use to go through a mountain and maybe some other useful items for our trip. But, alas, they were closed.

Work like money doesn't matter, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching...

This is uproariously grand!  I love the reference to Acme.  You are so darn funny.  May I suggest, since that road runner is so cagey, that you switch over to cats?

Hee Hee  Wile E.  What ever happened to that ol guy?  Him and the Trix rabbit, I give them both so much credit, I've never seen either of them in tears like I am when I dont' get what I want.  Your poem is funny and light, but theres something to think about in there too...

Greeting Devine One.    Wile E. Coyote was a super-genius! But he never did figure out that ACME stands for Always Cancels Mental Excellence. Thanks for the smile on that last line.  Peace!

This is so cute. Takes me back to the days of my youth with Saturday morning cartoons and pop tarts. Thanks for the memories

I always wondered why he fell for the same tricks over and over.  But still had a soft spot in my heart for his resilience.  Thanks, I needed this!
