I Could Grow
To Love You

The first time I held her
in my arms I felt like
this was where I belong.
Don't know why
it feels that
way sometime
but it does.
Of course
once I melted
into her arms
I didn't want
to let her go.
She had different plans.
I don't know why it works
out like that but it does.
So what else is new.
This has happened
to me before.
I have grown
to expect nothing less
and nothing more.

Thank you Wynter and Kit...yes no matter how much we find ourselves liking someone unless their heart softens for us we are sure to feel frustration, pain, and rejection...James
