Just A Myst At Twilight

0 posted 2001-10-05 12:12 PM

I could be a gypsy,
always on the roam,
running here and there,
never with a home

I could be the ocean
with all its waves and sounds
Or I could be the seagulls
that love to touch the ground

I could be the wildflowers
out in the meadows green,
hiding beneath the willows
and hardly ever seen

I could be the rainbow
leading to your pot of gold,
where you could leave your worries
and forget about your woes

I could be your sunset
at the ending of your day,
that your eyes reflect upon,
where you'd always want to stay

I could be the prayer
you whisper at night with just a sigh
Or the horizon as it reaches
up to gently kiss the sky

I could be your wind chime
singing through your long and lonely nights.
But all I know I'll ever be, is,

... Just a myst at Twilight

Thank you so much, Martie,
I'm glad you enjoyed this!
It is one of the first poems
I did, and has become a
favorite of mine now...

Twilight, your words rival the stars twinkle. (Love that art work, as well)

I grew up in foggy country, and was always enchanted with what I thought I could see through the "myst"....and loved the feel of it against my face...

this, I enjoyed!  Thank you!
