Oh, dear gardener, do not weep.
we are only going to sleep.
For you planted us with such care,
we will grow again light and fair.
The bit of salt from your eye
will only lift us to the sky

But you have to wait, for we are tired,
and winter is coming with a snow to mire.
So we snuggle down in leaves so deep,
to make us warm while we keep.
Then the spring, to wake our dreams,
Again to delight you with beauty schemes.

*sigh* Sweet Warrior! This is delightfully short and beautiful!

Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence.

Logan:
In spring new flowers will color the hills,
and from a mound
of plain, brown earth
life will return.

thank you for the gentle reminder.
