Thinking Of You

Was there at a cafe last night
Viewing the sunset on the sea
Thinking of you over there
Thoughts of how it used to be

Slowly the sunset descended
The orange mixed with the sea
My thoughts again were of you
Another day closing for me

Watching the sunrise that day
Shining across the ocean blue
Glancing across the far horizon
Another day thinking of you

Thoughts at daybreak or nightfall
From sunglows to fading sunset
My thoughts are always of you
Your the one I will never forget

Yesterday, today and tomorrow
There my thoughts will always be
Yet so many days I’m left thinking
Will he ever be thinking of me ??

for on earth with heaven above
there is nothing better that a true friends love

Yes I often visit this cafe and
watch sunsets over the ocean
it sure sets my thoughts in motion
