Quietude flies in to spread a soothing sheen,
Like nature's children draped in shades of green,
While leaves quiver in an invented fright,
From a gentle breeze, whose strokes are so light.

The grass invites in a silken embrace,
(feels) Like heaven on earth that one's lucky to grace,
While glad songbirds dart in tuneful delight,
Using tender wings to glide in smooth flight.

In playful oneness of earth and the stream,
There exists no burden; it's all a dream.

There, engulfed by calm, she sits on her perch,
Yet, waiting for the one who likes to search.

Sudhir~

'Quietude flies in to spread a soothing sheen'

I could use double-doses of that 'quietude'~
So very good to see you, my friend.
I trust that you are well.

She shouldn't have to wait,
she should be overwhelmed
by throngs rushing
to her quiet.

You have quietly sent some peaceful wonderful thoughts with this poem.
Thank you.
