I have to see myself from the outside in
As a bag of flesh or a bottle of sin
Unlike the point where I wish I could be
I'm paralleled... no lining up with me

Improbability stuck me up on this earth
Now it would figure if I even had worth
Some obscure film played once and in time
Taken off the shelf as if charged of a crime

No one to funnel me in this small adventure
I’d chosen myself and became my own censure
I’d like to dissolve this and broaden the scale
Fossilize the remains of a genus so frail

I'll look at myself from outside of the sin
Where I have a chance to be still born again
Racks of lamb pop into my brain waves just right
I don't think I’ll be counting sheep tonight

It's hard to judge others correctly and impossible to judge yourself as much...
Thanks for the read.

Walt~

'I have to see myself from the outside in'

And it's time for all of us to do just exactly that~

neatoh! i like the "no one to funnel me in this small adventure" part and also the following:

I'll look at myself from outside of the sin
Where I have a chance to be still born again
Racks of lamb pop into my brain waves just right
I don't think I’ll be counting sheep on this night

awesome!

It's not easy to look at ourselves from without, wayout... You're not as farout as you might think...

Walt-
Much wisdom in these words, my friend.
   Very nicely penned.

wayoutwalt,
This poem shouldn't be skipped.  Painfully insightful.  Not many go there.  Fascinating.
Thanks.

You see things in a wonderful way. Very refreshing voice you have. A wise place to search. Inside. Most of us do skip that part. This was well worth reading!

Sincerely,
Regina
