Am I live?
Or is it Memorex?
Answers in shattered glass
Reflect facets of crystal clear truth
That any blind man my see through.
I am the ghost in the machine.
The thing that goes bump in the night.
The shadow of the sun.
“To be or not to be?”
Is not the question for me.
But was I ever really real?
Aye! There be the rub of it.
And it chafes like sixty grit
Against the grain of logic
Screaming a high-pitched warning:
“Be careful where you throw that rock.
You don’t know what you might break.”

I love these words. . . I'd like to be both. . .

well done. . .

For a non-entity, you sure do leave a lot to ponder upon....

Aha, the ghost I've tried to rid my machine of....has finally been identified. Guess I can make a new file and let you rest here awhile longer.

Drew ,
This here's for you , buddy ...

'twas just the other day it seems
I had a technicolor dream .
The gist of which I've quite forgot
except it featured Andrew Scott .

My old pal from the Institute
try as I might would not re-boot
" How strange " I could not help but think,
" They've taken his magnetic ink "!

But that was then and this is now
that could not be , no way , no how ,
he dissapeared in one eye -blink ,
why couldn't that happen to " N-SYNC ?"

Well , Justin Genius( soon to be )
a self proclaimed authority ,
on ev'rything imag'nible
tried tracking him in digital .

He rammed his Rom with great aplomb
and checked his cache for hidden stash .
He drove his drive from nine to five
'til came the statement " Am I Live ? "

" Or am I merely Memorex ?"
The former is what I'd suspect ,
it could not be the latter see
Mad Hatter's joining me for tea .

And , we shall soon divine the truth
and nothing but the truth forsooth.
The King shall soon return to us
as fore-told in the Silly-Bus .

Once more to rule with waxen tools
( I've seen the future , and it's cool ! )
Long live the " King of Crayons " I say
a few think he has gone away .

Though oddly quiet it's my bet ,
he hasn't left the building yet !

Knock, knock, knock,
Remember me?
You're not Memorex,
As I'm not faked reality.

The west wing crony
all a bright within sanity.
You brought smiles,
Drawn from synchronicity.

Silly-Bus we sure did ride,
Into a world of derange ability.
Adventures rode in psychedelic
premieres slated as actualities.

Catch your breath dear friend,
We’re in for a stormy mystery,
See the mirror next to you,
Is that the man that we can see?

… and your Nakedthoughts were a joy to see.

Sven:  Having spent 15 years in radio, I’ve been my fair share of both.  Thanks for looking in.

Sir Balladeer:  I haven’t been to Florida for quite some time… you might want to fumigate your house again.  Peace!

Lady Martie: Glad you enjoyed… and it’s nice to be seen by one such as you.

Sunshine:  He he he… Nice to know I can have that effect.  Thanks.

Topheth:  Thanks for stopping by and leaving you mark.

Doc Moose:  Thank you… thank you… thank you… The King has yet to leave the building for good… just had to step out for while and grab a sandwich.  I promise to share more soon.  Peace my friend.

Lady of Shallot:  No finer compliment could you offer.  Thanks!

Nurse C:  A kiss upon your hand m’lady.  As for my reflection, my chosen icon speaks volumes for the view.  Peace to you and yours.
