I stand and remove the last of his armored glove
He reaches to wipe away not only tears of Gratfullness from above
But also the blood from my cheek, pulling me close
With the notion
Of telling me without words in a passionate kiss
Deep with emotion
His love and worries were as mine
Thankfull to have at least one more time

I help to remove the last of my sires armor
Gently noting the wounds
That will need special care on the marrow
Fascinated by the way the bloodied water
Makes it's way down his form
Washimg away also the clanging in his ears
From the war

With loving hands I stroke his face
Letting him know he's in the right place
For I will always be here awaiting his return
With mead in his goblet  and love in my face
Wrapping his arms around me showing no
Fatigue from his warrior day
He guides me through loving until
Dawns light in his expert of ways

We both know there will be
More tears
More calls to battle filled with
All of our fears
But for the now we relish in the
Love we share
Leaving all of this kingdoms and our troubles
Out there

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
