on the horizon of a fairytale

Emanating from the spirit of
a past love, delicate shimmers
of light cast a warming glow
upon a silhouette once left
within my heart

memories from a distant time stir
in the soft sway of a long forgotten
rhythm, beating in tepid quiet
and the essence of you is revealed
in each recollection.

Gentle words, conveyed with a soft whisper. I like it.

All memories of love should be this pure.  Thank you for this.
