Oh, morsel round, you fill me with delight
In ways that other cookies cannot do
Though Lorna Doone entices me to bite
My faithful lips wait patiently for you.

So many ways to taste your wondrous fruits
At once or separating you in two
Your creamy filling has no substitutes
To satisfies one's sweet tooth  like you do.

A dunk in milk will make you soft and sweet
Yet one must care too much time doesn't pass
Or there will be no cookie left to eat
But just a gooey mess inside the glass.

Though imitations come and quickly go
They never will replace the Oreo.

This is just way too cool!!
Love the dancing cookies as well.
Made me laugh and also a bit hungry...
I'm off to the snack bar....back in a flash.
Great fun read.  Enjoyed,  ~Nancy~

Aha, so you read my Oreo storeo? LOL at yours, and yes, you have to eat them quickly or a gooey mess is all that you have to show for your devotion to that sweet little cookie.

It is a pleasure to read you, always.

ROFL ... much enjoyed Michael!

My mother had a recipe, that was a sheer delight,
"Grasshopper Pie" she called it ... I could eat it every night,
She'd crush up tons of Oreo's and layer them below,
A whipped up minty filling topped with fluffy marshmellows.

Yum!  Thanks for the tasty memory!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Ode To Chocolate Cream Oreos

Well, first I loved my Oreos whole,
then the cute little minis came along.
I'd pop them in my mouth by the bag full,
Trust me they didn't last too long.

Now Oreo invented chocolate minis,
They have become my favorite now,
Trust me Balladeer when I tell you,
You can't eat just one, no way, no how!   LOL
