I am the resolve that settles over your spirit at night
Drifting by your eyes in words as if flashing some secret part of the world
when I share and smile here on this blue runway.
My way is the way of luring you in for a glimpse of honesty,
wanting to make you realize that all things are palpable,
whether you touch with your soul,
your windows
or your fingers.
I'd like to tease your senses with my words,
forcing your mind and imagination to swirl
into the desire painted oblivion of multi seasoned passion.
I'd like to draw
you
in
and bring to life the many journeys I have taken
so that you may take them along side me again;
and be prepared for your own.
I always hope you've taken at least one of my lessons with you,
in the fleeting trip of vibrant time we have here on this earth.
I want my words to come alive in the breeze of an Autumn,
Spring,
or Winter wind of that life,
whispering and tingling together like the writhing of a windchime teased and caressed.
I'd like to seize your breath with my untamed innocence,
and make you believe I could be your little child,
with just enough joyous wisdom to make the aged smile
at the delight of another young one who will one day do wonders for the world ahead.
Will you listen to my stories unfold although few are brought from experience?
Will you believe that I know you in the most intimate ways,
without ever having had to cross any borders
or place any chalk lines in front of me?
I am the one who wants to make you laugh or bring you to tears
And do so from moment to moment as if the world's roller coaster,
has suddenly taken the path of mischief.
I am the gentle one who sways with Emotion,
a debonaire dance partner who covets all my energy,
as I am patient with his charming but often unkind intrusions.
I am the woman poet inside the little girl,
drawing heavily on accelerated understanding
of the world around me
while my angels and devils (a constant theme)
play hide and seek.
I am the word warrior brandishing a vial of ink and quill
quick enough to cause fear in the thieves of sight for the passion in life.
With
each
word
I am desperately reaching for you and trying to draw you further into the silken web
of words that carry the scent of desire
covering all things
sexual, spiritual
or both.
I like to seperate them both in detail,
then concoct some enslaving potion of seemingly impossible things.
I want to touch you
right
there
and make you wonder about me often.
I am the Temptress!
often mistaken for the evil one
often mistaken for the sweetest one.
I want to be known as all things.
I am simplicity and complication.
I want my words to be the drink you partake
causing the intoxication of thought.
I am a Poet who sets herself free
with the uninhibited honesty of words as each day begins and ends.
I am the Temptress
who dares you to think on several paths.
I am aching for you to know me.
I am aching to know you.
And I am always trying to lure you with my words
just to know your mind.

Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence.
