Not The Morse Code

I wish we could communicate
in a secret tongue of our own,
a code no one could infiltrate,
designed in intricate strokes
of your genius.

While the rest of the modern world
frets over vulnerable identities
and betrayal of confidences,
we would continue to speak freely
in encrypted tones.

Prying eyes of spies might spend hours
in attempts to decipher our meaning,
but ours would be a codex uncrackable,
like trying to interpret love.

like trying to interpret love

That would be interesting.  Unique thoughts here.

Ahh, Cor, very well done and good point, not even the best code breakers in the world would be able to do that...very gentle smile

Thanks, Duncan, Marge and Logan! Did you happen to crack the code at the end?

LOL

Corinne....I'm glad that I decided to steal some time from my employer this morning to look back at some posts I've missed. This is very well done. Excellent. Bob

But then the CIA would arrest you because they can't understand you.  Can love conquer the CIA? *Grins*  Great write, Corinne!
