Hi There,

It is up to us to help Passions too as a member.  Each single click on the advertising banners means money for this site that is needed for maintenance on servers, purchases of hardware, software, etc. to make the site what it is.  Ron and the moderators take no money for maintaining this site, and the revenue generated from the advertising on the site helps a bit to maintain it.  If every poet who posts, just clicks one banner it helps bring in at least a little money to the site, and that is not too much to ask for all the work that Ron and the moderators do for free, to keep this place for us, now is it? So I wrote this silly little clicking dittie, so please click those banners.

$
Let's All Start Clicking!
$

Ok all you guys and gals of Passions,
let’s start a rally for this site,
We need those advertiser’s money,
so start clicking with all your might!

You know those pesky banners,
the ones at the top of your poem?
Well they are the guys, who pay the bills,
and allow Passions to remain our home!

See, every time you click on their ads,
A buck or maybe two goes into the pot,
That’s how we all got that fancy,
new, fandangled server Ron just got!

We just sit here writing poems
And never really stop to think,
Who is it that’s paying for,
All this paper and ink!

Well come on folks, start clicking,
Each click puts some cash in the pot,
increasing the cash kitty for Passions,
Says, "Hey Ron, thanks a lot!"

So remember now, you can click four times,
Four advertisers, every four hours.
Every little click brings cash to the site,
And pleases all the superpowers!  (the advertisers)

You guys and gals are really great,
To band together and do your part,
So come on now start clicking away,
And show Passion’s poets have a heart!
Thank you all so much, I love you all!

Great idea! and also very funny, as my daughter is into "Clicker Training" behavioral training techniques for dolphins, dogs, horses, etc. Maybe we can clicker train poets?

Trillium ~ And you tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends and so on (wasn't there a commercial like that?) LOL   Thanks.

SmittenKitten ~ Well I just happened to find this out myself, and thought we could give Ron a hand with expenses here, thank you.

Midnitesun ~ Hey, how about a workshop for "clicker training"?  You think Nan would run that one?  he he, thanks

LOL, what a wonderful promo Sharon! It's a great reminder that we still have to pay the bills around here, and this certainly is a part of the process. Thanks for sending out the reminder to all.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Hey - two moderators at once...well Sunshine and Kit, thanks for all that you do, and I hope you clicked a banner?  I don't think that creates a ton of revenue compared to what Ron spends to keep this going for us, but it will help

Hey, didn't know they pay money just for a click. Well, I'll click away then.

so if we do
CLICK CLICK CLICK
the dimes go
TICK TICK TICK
into our Ron's Passion's purse
well that shouldn't be so worse
for me to do

Sometimes it's easier to Click the Bic and write a check....oops, I lost my rhyme the same way I lost my dime...foolishness. If the clicker training doesn't pay off, I'll gladly send a real $ donation to my favorite site.

You are all just great, but put a yellow sticky on your computer somewhere to remember to keep clicking those advertising banners at the top of the pages.  Each little click is a thank you and shows our support to Ron for this wonderful site!  Go ahead and click the advertisement as
each click creates a tiny bit of revenue for the site, so keep up the good work and thank you!
