even when the sky is cloudy
i still can see the sun
it's in the way you look at life
that tells you if you've won

the world can be so cold and cruel
or be so warm and kind
it doesn't matter who you are
or what your state of mind

to be completely happy
you must start from within
you've got to learn to love yourself
before the others can join in

so take a look around you and
count the blessings that you've got
you might be quite surprised to see
they've gone from a little to alot

and next time when it's cloudy
look hard, you'll see the sun
you'll feel it deep inside you
thats when you'll know you finally won
