The Gift I see before me a very special thing Something so outstanding, It makes my heart sing. A special word, a token of our love, A gift for the receiver, Sent gently from above. God gives to all a special gift, To help those we meet along the way, A small unselfish courtesy, To brighten someone's day. To some He gives a healing touch The wonder of a small prayer, Given to all those who means so much, To show we really care. For some of us a talent, A wisdom of things untold, To share with others who shall ask, Or dare to be so bold. The gift is very special For the giver as you can see, The cost is absolutely nothing, As it is joyfully given free. |
