Listening to every heart

                                   To Voices

                                   started early on it did,
                                   aged three, between
                                   jagged edge of news
                                   and print
                                   to finger then the word
                                   lengthwise
                                   which sparked the mind
                                   like flint

                                   to dream a dream of
                                   “may come true”
                                   thinking “soon” it
                                   might ensue
                                   wondering if an ever
                                   should be
                                   would someone capture
                                   my poetry

                                   chance and ways
                                   weighted fate
                                   a need for
                                   answers to find
                                   looking far to
                                   somehow sate
                                   desires of a
                                   wandering mind

                                   a passion to find
                                   passionate poems
                                   of life, and truth
                                   and will
                                   somehow chance and
                                   ways weighted fate
                                   for Passions keeps me,
                                   still

a small thanks to all the Poets here….

Hi Kari, I so agree with this poem, and it is so wonderful to have the book, and our names in it! Though I am underimpressed with my old and unimproved poetry, still, its something, to finally see your name in a book, with writing under it. Wow!
Have a happy day

Enjoyed this,
as I have many others of yours,
especially like the use of line breaks.
