Listening to every heart

0 posted 2001-09-29 09:17 AM

Horizon’s Seek

to know it has beat before
this heart will surely go on
that they have strolled long before
these feet that yet search beyond
sky’s blue is too familiar
this green ground's been played before
though light frames every window
still, go open every door

take nothing then for granted
each gift a treasure adore
to greet sunrise, then sunset
should leave one with wanting more
every bird’s trill greets an ear
one’s vision would take in all
stand quiet before the deer
searching wind’s cool scent of fall

too soon a midpoint passing
as fall comes still soon does spring
shore no fear of non-lasting
winter shall quick summer bring
leave in the path a footprint
upon mountain come sands’ time
then open every doorway
to unearth your heart in mine

My oh my oh my ......
will ya look at that....
the sun just came up and colored my room in rays of wisdom gold...and how warm the day now is.........
what a very very very cool poem....
Good morning Lady Sun....
you live up to thy name time ten in this poetic beauty.

We're all feeding our lonely ... like it might go away,
Like the doors of heaven will swing wide ... if we just find the right words to say.
