Storm disrupted peace
As petals fell down earthward
Human darkness shown

Strong expression of fragility scattered in such an inhumane manner. Hope will still bloom even under the blanket of darkness. Our light will be provided. Peace and Hugs.

Very profound, Rick.  I really don't think there are words to convey what people feel about the events of that day, but this comes close.

this senryu and the accompanying comments hit me hard...

God bless America...

(a senryu follows the same 5-7-5 syllable count but is about anything else other than nature)

Very well said. As fragile as the petal is, it can also be as strong as steel when its beauty and love touch your heart.

You touch the soul of your reader with their own humanity. This is a masterpiece of emotion.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

So much within these few lines and syllables.
Nicely done.
