where the sky and horizon meet

0 posted 2001-09-26 01:14 AM

She has the roundest eyes
I've ever seen -
full of the warmth and kindness
that everyone recognizes within
ten seconds of meeting her.

She laughs a hearty laugh
that shows to all
her enjoyment of life
And when she smiles
you know that twinkle in her eyes
is just for you.

She is the bravest person I know
because she gives herself completely
to everyone she meets.
And she is the wisest,
for she is the one that told me
to "be happy, whatever you do."

She is my aunt, my role-model, and friend
and I love her for all that she is and will always be.

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

SK..this is sweet and sincere tribute..
and a wonderful gift for her.
and I love your signature's sincerety too

Well tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be
But in you I found a love so strong
The sun and the moon looked on in jealousy

Very nice poem.
She's a very lucky person to have you
in her life.
Maybe Karen will write more often now hm?
Let's hope!

Hehe, yes let's hope
After all, she also said the wise words of "we all live busy hectic lives, but a letter in the mail is a great find."
And even though hers are few and far between, I treasure them all

Love you

Lovely write for your aunt. I'm sure she adores you as much as you do her. I have an Auntie Kath who sounds like this. Cheers to our wonderful aunts.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
