I know that just from time to time
  I write about what's on my mind
And someone special asked me please
  To write about something in legalese.
So to her I dedicate these pleadings
  Staffed and written through many meetings.
You are the victim of my love
  I plead not contest to you my dove
I know the glove of love don't fit
  But just like OJ you must aquit.
Your love for me a weapon strong
  Slicing through whats right and wrong.
Are you culpable, guilty even
  Of loving me, well EVEN STEVEN!
My tort to you my loving defendant
  Is one of knowing what's intended
I hold you in contempt you see
  For running away and fleeing me.
If you hold me there is no jail
  No bond, nor even posted bail.
I am your captive, captured true
  My heart belongs only to you.
So your verdict, lover, please tell the court
  How do you respond to my loving tort?
Yea or Nay, you must respond
  My heart is being held without bond.
Johnnie Cochran could not defend
  You from what my heart intends.
I sentence you, for loving me
  Forever in my heart to be.
