Fragile Emotions Face down, steps unmoved Frightened to show flowing tears Emotions to be left behind Fragility of lost years Tis the shallow dreams come by For the sorrow to rest on shoulders That carry no more of life's wishes The moment is a lifetime's nightmare Surrendering, without a fight's glimpse The figure disappears into the night One last look upon fields once trodden Emotions encompassing a fragile heart The morning sun rising upon frown A butterfly flies past, a breath of fresh air A smile raises amidst the tired glare There is beauty in the daylight's dawn Until the fragile emotions vanishes The butterfly will persist for happiness To submerge the downtrodden Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |
