At the edge and a doorway,TX

0 posted 2001-09-24 02:50 AM

I sit down silently and wait for
Wait for the silence to stop and someone to knock on my door
Someone to make me feel
Make me feel right and complete again
I want to look into to the eyes of a man
A man that understands me and everything that I do
One that loves me
Loves me for everything that I am and everything that I can be
Someone who knows
Knows how to treat me right and will do so for the rest of my life
Is that too much to ask for?
I want to be danced
Danced around a room for all of his friends to see me with him
I want to be held
Held until the sun comes up and he can't stand holding me anymore
I want to be kissed
Kissed with a passion and intensity that will run through my whole body
I want to be touched
Touch me forever and let me feel our souls combine through that moment in time
I want to be their everything
Everything they could ever want and need in a woman
Someone who will stand beside them
Someone who will walk with them forever
I want to be loved
Loved in a way that I have not felt in a long time
Is that too much to ask for?
Is that too much to ask for?

Love,
Lady

Live in my world just once and you'll find yourself enraptured.

This is a wonderful plea..with a sad tone to it. Still there is hope.   I have wished these same things not so long ago.   Beautifuly done, and its great to see you here.

Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence.

this is so sad...I hope he comes to the door soon...from the sound of this poem..if you love the way you want to love..you maybe more than enough....plus it is not to much to ask for...

Ah, this is lovely. May it come to you one day. It's not too much to ask, and never settle for less

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
