Goddess of light
creator of my heart
to you I give my thanks

I give thanks for this place
created in your sight
and formed by your footsteps
I give thanks for these of the air
for these of the land
and for these of the sea

I give thanks for every dawn
that greets my waking eyes
the promise that you will
always be with us
and that someday we will
always be with you there

but most of all
Goddess of Dreamtime
and light of my soul
I give you thanks
for your greatest gift of all
she who was born
of the flower stalk of the tree
the embodiment of your power
my companion of your creation

I will honor and care for her
as I honor and care for you
Goddess of creation
and light of my heart

Yhi is the creator Goddess of the Karraur, an aboriginal group of Australia, for more about her, go here: Story of Yhi or here: Yhi Brings Life to the World
