Moody Blues

A rainy day has covered me,
sulking in my moody blues.
Withdrawing from my rainbow views
alone and silent, comforts be.
Eyes of hazel, drowned in thee.

I wish I may, sometimes I might
How could it be, why not tonight...
Just thoughts escaping silent hold
to question, query uncontrolled.

Watching clouds float way up high,
suspended mysts have filled with gloom.
Renaissanced in new costume,
as droplets flow from gray of sky
and trickle falls, from eye of I.

I wonder how, and often when
Why can't it be, like then again...
Just pictures painted in my mind
imaged answers, fictioned find.

Pretending reigns on vintaged frame
of mind and heart in spirits loss.
Words today on face emboss
in mirrored glass as eyes take aim
and wage their war 'gainst gray of same.

As if perhaps, or maybe could
a turnaround of time, withstood...
Just you and I, in rainbow bliss
an iridescent, reminisce.

~Wynter

Melancholy, yes..it's finally raining here..both in moisture and words of inspiration. If you gained anything from my poem then I have accomplished my goal.*s

And a dictionary/thesaurus always helps to improve upon my writing.

thank you

Lovely read, Wynter.  The title caught my eye; I wrote a poem with the same not very very long ago.  I may repost it.

Masked Intruder ..I probably could have picked a different  title that may have been more appropriate  for this  poem but I was in a blue  mood when I wrote it..I hope to read yours by the same title *s thank you.
